The NurbsAndPolyPedia is an absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G resource for polygons, subdivisions, and nurbs. In fact the subdivision modeler’s primer is one of the most complete articles that I have ever seen on the topic. The super-vast entry called the Subd Primer was originally written by Glen Southern and includes a discussion on Catmull vs Doo Sabin, Edge Loops, triangles, Polygons and Poles and a nerdy chart on linear stepping! Its a great a wiki for everything nurbs and poly. I am not afraid to say when I came upon this a while back, that it made me tingle in strange places…yep, its that good.
