Neal Holman is the Art Director for the animated series Archer that is currently airing Thursdays on FX at 10 PM.  Neal provides a glimpse into the process of how they create the animation using after effects. It is interesting insight to see that they use after effects for this type of animation and not adobe flash, also the range of stuff they can get from a single drawing is pretty clever stuff. The video below is ONE drawing of a head.  One basic drawing, but look at the range Mack creates just by moving and distorting its layers.
