Synicade Herrera shows how to use his SmartRectangle tool in Nuke. SmartRectangle is a Nuke gizmo for working with rectangles with controls such as an auto center, bevels, inner and outer colors and offers general simplicity for creating rectangles in Nuke.

Synicade Herrera writes: This node is designed to make working with rectangles easy. It automatically centers itself, and hollowing the center of it is easy as clicking a checkbox. The Bevel can easily be adjusted, and all color/masking controls are easy as any other node. When a SmartRectangle node is spawned, it also spawns a Transform node. I did not want to clutter the SmartRectangle interface, and even if I did I wouldn’t have included all the tools that a Transform node can use. This is why I decided to spawn a transform node instead.

Note that it has no input. For some reason when it is not merged (when directly places in the node tree), the center of the bevel becomes black. It requires that you merge it with the comp.
