Imagineer systems has announced the latest point release for mocha AE and mocha Pro, Mocha 3.1 which shows improvements over lender distortion workflows along with the ability to export rasterized distortion maps that can be read by modern compositors, new mocha for HitFilm 2, RED file support and the ability to export color roto shapes to NUKe and After Effects.

Here, Imagineer Systems’ Mary Poplin demonstrates the new ability for mocha 3.1 to export rendered color roto shapes or color roto splines to compositors, which will prove to be a valuable feature.

If you have the bundled mocha AE for CS4 – CS6, you will be able to upgrade to mocha AE 3.1 for $195.00 or upgrade to mocha Pro 3.1 for $795.00.

New features in mocha Pro v3.1 include:
