Isotropix posts some new tutorials showing how to use Clarisse iFX’s main features, and provides a great look at getting started using Clarisse iFX showing how to work with layers, groups, understanding how Clarisse iFX handles sampling, light linking, materials and scattering objects.

We’re also pleased to announce the release of quite a few free mini-video tutorials covering Clarisse basics. As you have experienced, Clarisse redefined traditional workflow and those videos will sure help you ease Clarisse learning curve

Isotropix has also announced and made available a new update to the Clarisse PLE adding some bug fixes as well as some new features, including Fish eye camera, OBJ material import, energy conservative shading, texturable geometry clipping, user-defined vertex normal support. Also, while on a roll it seems, Isotropix released both the Clarisse iFX retail and Personal Learning Edition for Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), Lion (10.7) and Mountain Lion (10.8).
