Paul Barrett shows how simple it is to take a piece of footage that was clearly shot in summer time, and alter it to look like a winter scene with a little color correction, strategic masking, and using Trapcode Particular to fill in some animated snow.

Paul also suggests some tips in what to look for in your source footage that will make things easier for creating the effects shot, and it is impressive to see how simple AE effects such as “Tint” can drive the sale of snow.
