The C4DZone has posted a freeware tool for Cinema 4D that adds some missing features to the point to point modeling workflows that are available in Cinema 4D R13 and 14.

Lost a Point is a Cinema 4D r13/14 plugin dedicated to our C4Dzone users developed in order to fix some missing features of P2P modeling with Cinema 4D

Cappellaio Matto notes that Lots a Point solves some frustrating situations in Cinema 4D.

The first is that while you are able to use a selected point in a point cloud as reference in an orthogonal view, it ends up not working well or at all in the front viewport. Secondly, Lost a Point will allow you to add points that lie along the axis without using a zoom in the viewport allowing you to trace reference art quickly.

Check out Lost a Point which is offered freely and works with Cinema 4D R13/14, OSX and Windows 7 32/64bit.
