Initially Elementary’s focus was on providing a simple way to create shadows and reflections for 3D elements in After Effects, however the ability to edit anchor points for 3D elements in After Effects became a much more popular feature.

Probably the coolest new feature of Elementary 1.5, You can now use the anchors to finally make 3D plugins interact with 3D layers

Expanding on this, the latest version of Elementary 1.5 has added a “depth Anchor” feature will will allow you to create anchor points for 3D elements in After eFfects, and also have them work properly with 3D plugins like Particular, Plexus, and Element, while moving the camera completely around the scene.
