A shiny bit of brilliance from Sébastien Perier who creates Story Boarding, a script for After Effects that can import an Adobe Story screenPlays instantly, automatically creates a comp composed of After EFfects Layers using the length transcribed from the screenplay itself.

Story Boarding not only segments and creates a timed rough-cut as layers in After Effects timeline, but it also color codes layers based on time of day and creates compositions based on the characters from the screenplay.

Story Boarding allows you to create a rough cut of your movie right from your Adobe Story Screenplay

Of course, you probably would not want to do your actual full on editing in After Effects, that would be crazy. Although, this is a great tool for creating animated storyboards, or animatics, dropping in graphics, drawings or any other visual content into the layers that the Story Boarding script has created.

Story Boarding is $49.99 regularly, however you are able to pick it up for $39.98 as a special introductory price until June 16, 2013. Find out more on the Story Board Script for After Effects over at AEScripts here.
