ARTIXELS, creators of the Escher image generator plugins for Nuke have announced a new VFX plugin in Resonance. Built and designed to create abstract effects, Resonance is a high performance inmate generator which is based on a vectorized caustics rendering engine, using multiple user directed wave emitters to create soft organic iterative forms quickly.

Resonance does this without any inter-frame dependency, meaning you are free to scrub through the timeline without wrecking the plugin’s effect. Resonance provides in-viewer controls, allowing you to alter and tweak the effect right within Nuke’s viewer, which is a great way to tune the parameters rather than moving back and forth from the interface.

Based on a fully vectorized caustics rendering engine and multiple intuitive user-directed wave emitters, Resonance allows artists to create sophisticated organic visuals quickly

Availability
Resonance for Nuke is immediately available for The Foundry Nuke 7.0 and 8.0 on Windows 7.0 and Mac OSX. Resonance for Nuke costs US$129 for a single node-locked license.
