CreativMotion posts a look at building data glitch effects in After Effects from elements that are brought in from Adobe Illustrator. The technical data glitch effect give life to interface elements, especially when you are drawing them on or taking them off the screen. If glitches like this happened with equipment in real life, it most likely would be unacceptable.
