UberNumber, an Expression to End All Expressions for Number Formatting in Ae

If you have ever tried to deal with dynamically generated numbers in Ae, you know what a serious hassle it is. After Effects has no real unified method for formatting numbers so you are left to use expressions to determine things like how many digits after the decimal, or add leading digits in front of a number for instance.

Formatting text for dynamically generated numbers in After Effects just got a whole lot easier

This is all fine, but it makes you constantly hunting for those expression strings the next time you need to format numbers in an Ae project.

This is where Quba Michalski has put some time in effort to create UberNumber, an all-in-one function that combines several smaller expressions together in an easy number formatting tool for After Effects.

Quba walks through creating the UberNumber Preset in After Effects, and also shows how it can be used with some practical examples. He has put together a post and a downloadable preset that you can get here. QHQ ÜberNumber (Tutorial + Preset)
