CGPedia has posted another filmic recreation that breaks down some of the techniques used to create a tower destruction in Maya and 3ds Max.

CGPedia used Autodesk Maya for the rubble effects, fluid effects and other little bits, and 3Ds Max for the destruction of the tower itself, using RayFire to break apart and explode the top of the tower.
