Sneak Preview for V-Ray Path Tracing Working Within VRAYforC4D RT

Stefan Laub shows off a quick preview of unbiased CPU Path Tracing with VRAYforC4D RT. What seems to be pretty standard V-Ray behavior is heightened by the fact that it is within Cinema 4D.

VRAYforC4D looks to be revealing the dealt time or “RT” features of V-Ray for use within C4D. This will be a welcome addition, using V-Ray’s interactive renderer for shading, lighting and surface refinements within C4D’s viewport.

Certainly one of the most missed features of V-Ray in C4D is the V-ray RT, so any path tracing in VRAYforC4D RT will be a welcome addition.

VRAYforC4D was recently updated to version 1.8, incorporating some new great features from the V-Ray core. Seeing the integration of V-Ray RT and pairing it with the VRAYforC4D development roadmap, means that there is another update in the works, called v2.0.

C4D V-Ray 2.0 is mentioned to most likely to make use of the V-Ray 3.0 core, and the introduction of the V-Ray RT interactive render engine into the C4D interface. There also may be some other V-Ray 3 features incorporated, but for that we shall just have to stay tuned.
