Rhino 5 for Mac Release Imminent In Upcoming Weeks

Robert McNeel & Associates have announced that the macintosh version of Rhino 5 will be officially released within the next few weeks. The company has been actively developing Rhino for Mac with their “work in progress” cycle for development of the beta. There was also a suggestion that there would be introductory pricing when Rhino 5 for Mac is released.

Rhino for Mac is almost here! Release Candidate 1 (RC1) is a full commercial product that runs with 90-day evaluation, commercial, and educational (but not WIP) license keys

It was a few months ago we had a look at the development of Rhino 5 for Mac, while RM&A have been using out updates nearly weekly, then end is almost near.

Rhino represents a really strong NURBS and Solids modeler in the design, architectural and CAD trades. The application bases some really great modeling features – which have been sadly missed on other platforms other than windows systems.

If you want to take Rhino 5 for mac a try, you can check out the Rhino 5 Mac McNeel Wiki page that has information and FAQ’s for the application, as well as a download. Be sure to download before June 3rd, 2015, at which point it will no longer be available.
