Fracture FX, the demolition effects solution for Maya has recently announced a new beta. Fracture FX 1.8.13 offers some great new features that round out its procedural, event driven workflow.

Fracture FX destruction tool for Maya has always been a great tool for artists, allowing you to easily direct effects and destruction simulation.
Fracture FX 1.8 adds a new interior face displacement setting, which allows you to get a much more realistic look to the fractured elements. As the feature’s name suggests, you can add more detail to the interior of your fractured pieces.
The new Beta also adds the ability to have collapsable hierarchies in the object list, and also adds a new fragment information heads up display.
