Niels shows how to simulate Houdini’s PyroFX for a great smoke effect that will be contained in a glass sphere. The tutorial walks through creating the Pyro FX Simulation, rendering the scene with Houdini’s Mantra renderer, and finally compositing the shot in After Effects, giving some post production tweaks to the still image.
