Technical artist and creative director, Einar Gabbassov has created and shared a small tool for MBD Fusion that instantly gives you optical lensing artifacts. The Vintage Lens Filter Node simulates the characteristics of vintage lenses and can add optical artifacts such as anamorphic flaring, image ghosting, and of course, the ever so popular, chromatic aberrations.

VintageLens adds optical artifacts to the footage and allows you to control the strength of each effect by a group of easy to use sliders. The Vintage Lens Filter Node can also use a mask input to limit the effect to a specific area.
