BlackMagic Design Fusion is a high end node-based composting application that has a true and unified 3D environment. That means that you can just import and use complete 3D models from your favorite 3D application. Fusion can light, shade, composite and render 3D scene with GPU acceleration.
Actually, most of Fusion is accelerated on the GPU, for a fast and responsive feel to the whole application. Fusion 8 is being highly anticipated, while still in public beta. Many are awaiting the first Mac OS X version for Fusion ever, with version 8.
