Hamburg-based animator Lasse Clausen, shares a script for C4D that will let you transfer all objects selected in your scene, to the last selected object.
Simply select your objects in the viewport and run the script. All of your selected objects will move to the objects that was last selected. If you hold down control, you can delete the last selected object.
Lasse notes that this transfer all objects script will really come in handy when you have complex hierarchies in your scene, and you want to move your objects within those hierarchies.
