Void is a meditation on the psychology of the creative mind and the choices we face when we create.

Originally a labour of love, then shelved as a horrible failure and now reborn as an odd remix of old and new.
It has been an ongoing project for almost 3 years which I have abandoned and restarted many times.

When returning to the piece after not working on it for months, I would often reevaluate everything and start over.
A vicious cycle where everything would look dated when I was ready to put in the time.
My struggle with being satisfied with the creative eventually became the common thread for the short.

The art of creation can be as frustrating as it can be rewarding, and maybe it has to be a bit of both.
Pure and raw creativity goes a long way but self-editing is just as important and far more difficult in my mind.

This project is like a stream of conscious inspired by the things and the art I find aesthetically pleasing.
Through a string of creative scenarios we slowly make our way from the light and into the darkness.
