New SLiB Browser Pro for Maya Gains Automatic Shader Previews

DGDM releases a new and free update to SLiB Browser Pro registered users. The latest version adds the ability to generate automatic shader previews. SLiB Browser Pro is a shader and asset manager for Maya, that lets you taking control of asset libraries.

This update finally brings this most requested feature

You can now select which items in the SLiB Browser window you want previews for, by setting a checkmark for them. The system will generate automatic shader previews for all those selected. Automatic shader previews has been a long-requested and awaited feature for the shader and asset management plugin. The auto-preview feature is currently for Mac and Windows systems only.

Other Changes to SLiB Browser Pro

In addition to previews, a couple of additional features have made its way over to the Maya plugin, making it more workflow friendly. Shaders and assets are now updatable in version 1.4. Also debuting, is new functionality for UNC path support, along with some minor bug fixes, making the plugin more reliable.

Availability
