Tim Kaminski is a concept artist who regularly posts some great tutorial on his Youtube Channel. Recently, Tim has been offering some insights into his 3D Prop pipeline. A multi-part tutorial / process video covers how Tim typically creates game ready props using a combination of 3D-Coat, ZBrush and Substance Painter.

The process covers creating and working a base mesh in 3D-Coat, sculpting and decimation in Zbrush, retopology back in 3DC, and painting with Substance Painter. There is a lot of back and forth!
