A look at Zync Cloud Rendering for Cinema 4D

Looking for rendering options that you can use for Cinema 4D? There are quite a few rendering services out there, from render farms to cloud rendering services that can help you get your renders out faster. Instead of amassing an army of computers yourself, you can have a look at some cloud rendering services that can help. The only question is cost.

Dimitris Katsafouros does a great job of reviewing one of them, the Zync cloud platform on Google Cloud. Zync rose as a service for high end 3D work and then moved to the Google Cloud, offering low cost rendering solutions for Maya, and other hosts.

What sets Zync apart from the rest, is that it feels and works as if you are working with local computers. It takes the guesswork out of building and setting up machines in the cloud and managing how to get the renders back.

Watch Dimitris cover the in’s and out’s for using Zync cloud rendering with Cinema 4D. Zync can render Cinema 4D R18 standard and physical renderers. It has plugin support that lets you setup and send renders right from within C4D. As yet, other 3rd party renderers are not supported with C4D, such as Arnold, V-ray and RenderMan. These are all supported on Zync with Maya and Nuke and Houdini.

If you constantly render with the standard or physical engines in C4D, Zync is cheap and relatively fast. Visit ZYNC for more information and free plugin downloads.
