Maxon has launched a new effort to bring the development Cinema 4D to the forefront. Maxon Labs is a place where you can gain early access to new innovations and prototype tools for Cinema 4D.
Having a platform where users can access new tools and provide feedback on them is a great way to progress them while keeping in contact with the user base’s needs.
There are already a few tools on Maxon Labs. A Coons Mesh generator gives a simple way to enable free form mesh development by defining four sides of a shape with curves. There are also already a couple of tools for Team Render users, one that will let you use HTTPS, and the other is a Team Render Notifier.
Extrudifier is a python script that lets you create random nested extrusions in one shot. Great for creating “greebled” effects on any mesh.
