A handy little color extractor script for for photoshop available for download that allows you to separate the color from any image onto it’s own ‘color’ layer. For example, you can take any photograph, and now see the color as a separate layer to the actual shading of the image.

topaz remask, quick accurate masking for photoshop

Topaz remask is a masking tool for photoshop, which appears similar (but way more effective) to photoshop’s obsolete “extract” command and environment. YAFMT? (yet another fast masking tool) perhaps, for around $70.00 its probably worth looking at the 3o day demo.
