Sculptris, a work-in-progress sculpting tool from Tomas Pettersson, has recently come out of alpha, beta and is as a 1.0 release. Tomas has been developing sculptris since early December 2009 which features a dynamic mesh tessellation that will provide additional detail where required, without a lot of bother from the user. Very fun, and yours to try out!
