A while ago and what seems like forever really, there was a new compositing package about called Toxic. Toxic was being touted by Autodesk and built for tight integration with 3D Studio Max back then. It was a hard road for Toxic, being that Nuke had all the buxx, and made significant gains in that market even back then. Since then Toxic has been renamed Autodesk Composite, and has been packaged with Autodesk’s 3D software packages like Maya, and 3D Studio.
