Some basic Mudbox / Maya tutorials from Elliott Mitchell showing the importing of a mesh into Mudbox from Maya, creating displacement maps in Mudbox, and also one video on Mudbox to Maya textures.

As a little note, Elliott is using “export” from Maya to Mudbox, however in Maya 2010 the “Send to Mudbox” command is a little slicker for that type of interoperability thing… and also when in Mudbox using the “Send to Maya” to come back round-trip… A little more refined than just an import, however either way works!

    Oh, I found the buttons but they are greyed out. What has to be done to be able to use the buttons ?
