marvelous designer, for all your clothing needs in 3d

Marvelous Designer is an application who’s sole purpose is to create 3D clothing simply and easily, in fact the website mentions something about “in ten minutes”… well I got 10 minutes. This looks pretty interesting if you have ever messed around with Maya Cloth or nCloth in Maya. Marvelous Designer seems to have an keen approach to developing 3D clothes, not just in the interface and workflow, but also in the way that clothing is prepared… pretty much how it would be in real life with support for tuck, shirring, pleating, gathering, and ironed line making.

A personal license of Marvelous Desinger is $99 until February 1st. (For individual customers only. This license may not be used for companies, educational institutions, and/or government organizations). Where small business and enterprise licensing are $699, and $1399 respectively.
