Ambiera recently released CopperCube 2.5 which adds support for Adobe’s beta of Flash Molehill API. The Molehill beta adds hardware accelerated 3D graphics within the Flash platform, and CopperCube is one of the first 3D editors to support Molehill.

CopperCube is an editor for creating Flash 3D and WebGL and additionally, it can create standalone Windows .exe and Mac OS X .app programs as well.

“This new release adds support for Adobes just released Flash Molehill API (which is still in beta), that is real, hardware accelerated 3D graphics. CopperCube now is the first 3D editor to support Molehill, so users can try out to create real, fast 3D Flash applications without programming. In order to try out this new feature, you need to install the beta Flash Player Incubator with the Molehill API from labs.adobe.com. Of course, CopperCube also publishes 3D Flash applications without this player and then only uses the slower 3D features from Flash Player 10.”
