Laurence Grayson writes: I know – I was supposed to be doing a kinetic typography tutorial next, but I have the attention span of a goldfish. This was one of those ‘I wonder if…’ moments, and the only way to get rid of those nagging thoughts is to see where they lead. In this case, it lead to a quick and easy method of creating a tarmac / asphalt text using fractal noise (it’s amazing how useful that effect can be), with a street marking-style title.
