CreateTogether’s Jake and Dan offer up a Gizmo for Nuke that provides Photoshop’s Layer Styles controls right in Nuke, right down to it’s smallest detail.

The majoroty of the functionality of the Photoshop Layer Styles are present, with the exception of a few things that are simply better created in Nuke with Merge Nodes or completely left out as they are not used as often. This would include the Photoshop Pattern, Gradient, satin as well as texture in Bevels features in Layer Styles; However, other than that, they are all present, looking and functioning similar to Photoshops Layer Styles.

Often when we work in Nuke, we miss something we’ve been spoiled with by Adobe – this time Layer Styles. Let us introduce to you our Nuke replicate of Adobe Photoshop’s Layer Styles

Essentially they have taken the most commonly used Layer Styles and placed them in a Nuke gizmo that can either behave as a merge node which will directly apply the styles, or it is able to create the styles and send them to different channels preserving them of use later down the line.

Jake and Dan are offering the basic Layer Styles Gizmo for Nuke that can do shadows and glows (both inner and outer) for free or to try before you buy, and the full version of the Layer Styles Gizmo for Nuke for a nominal price of $10.00 which you can find here.
