Proving that The Foundry is dedicated and geared towards their client’s productivity, they have recently revealed that NUKEX 7.0v6 will come with a brand new Assist Tool for NUKEX which will allow for the common FX tasks of rotoscoping 2D Tracking, Planar Tracking, and paint that can be used in a team setting.
NUKEX’s Assist tool allows the common tasks of paint, roto, 2D tracking and planar tracking to be shared with a wider group of artists at no additional cost
This is a new addition to the NUKEX feature set and technically, it is a separate installed NUKE license that has a trimmed feature set so that it only does certain tasks, so you will be able to pass off paint, roto and tracking to other team members and artists without the additional costs of another full NUKE license.
Every NUKEX license will now come with 2 licenses of the NUKE Assist Tool which will give people access to the select set of NUKE nodes to perform paint, roto and tracking tasks, all you need is a NUKEX license with valid maintenance.
