The Bonus suite of tools have been updated and are now available for Maya 2014, and include some new tools and some fixes and updates to some older ones. Quite a few tools have been added dealing with modeling, with the addition of a delete edge loop tool, and collapse edge ring tool aims to simplify the reduction of detail in an object, and provides a bit more interactivity rather than using to edge loop and delete.

Other additions include some UV editing tools, with Nudge UVs and Tile UVs which will allow you to nudge one ore more UVs in any directions and create a tile series of UV shells respectively.

Two new additions to to viewport display / rendering tools, Toggle X-ray per mesh will let you set an individual object as X-ray rather than the entire viewport, and the similarly related add Transparency Attribute which will add a channel box attribute, on an object basis. An specific object’s transparency value can be controlled from the channel box with a new attribute for it, even if that object share the same shader of another object – as the transparency attributes are on a per object level.
