In continuation with his ExtendScript training, David Torno posts a look into the next level of hierarchy in reading and setting values with a look at creating standard keyframe properties and reading keyframe values from a property in After Effects.
The fact of the matter was that keyframes are and are not as straight forward as you may think
David notes that working with keyframes in After Effects ExtendScript is not as straightforward as the previous chapters would lead you to believe. David shows how to manually create standard keyframes on any property in After Effects with ExtendScript, and also shows how to read and transfer keyframe information from one layer property to another.
