Studio AAA has announced that FurryBall 4, their flagship GPU Based realtime renderer for Maya and Max is now available, adding physically based global illumination, a stand alone version, and the ability to take advantage of rendering over a network.

With new support for image based lighting and brute force path-tracing built into the OptiX™ Physically-based full global illumination engine, FurryBall offers the speed of GPU rendering with the quality and features of what you are used to with rendering from the CPU.
