Coolorus Team Launches Coolorus 2

New Features in Coolorus 2

Coolorus has always been a much more useful alternative to many embedded color pickers. One of the strongest benefits of Coolorus is being able to use the same standard, robust color picker across all applications. The coolorus team have added some great enhancements ad well as color tools that are essential in content creation workflows.

Shapes and Text

Coolorus 2 has made the leap into affecting shape layers and text layers, allowing you to change text and solid shapes fill color.

Color Sliders

Coolorus 2 offers new sliders, allowing for 6 color spaces (RGB, HSV, LAB and more), and lets you organize them exactly as you like.

Gamut Lock

You can now limit your gamut or luminosity with Coolorus 2. This will allow you yo get much more consistent color palettes.

New Color Mixer

Coolorus 2 now offers you the ability to keep your picked colors or even share them with others in the new mixers panel. Of course, as the name suggests you are also able to mix colors to your liking in the new panel.

Rewritten Simple Mode

The simple mode in Coolorus was rebuilt from the ground up, now allowing you to simplify almost every element of the Coolorus 2 interface panels. This is as simple as hovering on element and pressing +/- on your keyboard.
