Corona C4D is soon to be a thing. Previously a popular realistic renderer for 3ds Max, it is under development for C4D.
Some of the best things about Corona that Cinema 4D users will love, is the quality over the ease of use. Corona C4D also has great integration so far. You are able to use most of the C4D shaders and render tools with Corona C4D. This makes it easier to transition, if you are already familiar with Cinema 4D’s render tools.
Watch Cinema 4D Artist Shawn Astrom show how to create a tree with leaves using Corona renderer for C4D.
You can download Corona Render for C4D alpha, free to use, even for commercial projects. This build supports Cinema 4D R14 to 17 and will expire after the commercial version sees a release.
