Premiere Pro users have A LOT to get excited about this fall with the launch Motion Array’s new line of Premiere Pro plugins.

Yep, that’s right, the post-production juggernaut is expanding its library of motion graphics templates, stock video footage, and royalty free music files even further to now include plugins, and as you’ll see by their first three products to hit the market—Stretch, Long Shadow, and SHIFTER—they sure as hell ain’t skimping on quality.

These effects and transitions are beautiful like Barbie, smooth like Ken, and unlike anything you’ll find in Premiere Pro. In fact, up until now, the only real way to create movements as sophisticated as these was to pop over to After Effects and build them from scratch. But now, thanks to these cheeky little plugins, you can just import the goods.

According to Motion Array, all plugins will be GPU-accelerated so you won’t have to worry about sluggish rendering times. Nor will you have to worry about them throwing a spanner in your workflow. Once you’ve installed a plugin, it’ll work just as seamlessly as all the other pre-installed, drag-and-drop effects one ordinarily finds in Premiere Pro.

For anyone that’s been keeping a close watch on Motion Array over the past year, the latest development probably won’t come as any surprise. Bit by bit the marketplace has been expanding into new tools and services, all in an effort, it says, to add more value to its subscription packages. In the past four months alone, Motion Array’s added a video portfolio builder, cloud-based video review system, and a generously-stocked unlimited library. So really when you think about it, plugins were just a matter of time.

You can also expect no surprises when it comes to pricing. As is the case with all its top-tier products, Motion Array will be reserving Premiere Pro plugins for its nearest and dearest, a.k.a. its paying members. This means if you want to get your hands on any of these video-enhancing effects, you’re going to have to get yourself a subscription. And if you want to keep them, you’re going to have to keep that subscription active.

As sigh-worthy as this may sound, you can rest assured that membership plans won’t break the bank. In fact, as far as motion graphics marketplaces go, Motion Array’s fees are some of the cheapest going around (starting out at just $24/month).

Of course, you might want to wait to see what else the team over at Motion Array wheels out in the way of plugins before signing up. And for that, you have to look no further than its Premiere Pro plugins which is expected to fill out with loads of more products before the end of the year.
