Sebastian König shows how to use Blender’s Tracking module without any markers.

If you work with Blender, you know that it has a competent tracker as part of its toolset. For those of you doing object or head tracking, it turns out that you don’t need to place markers all over your face. Blender is capable of tracking just the same without them.

Check out this tutorial from blendFX and Sebastian König that shows how you can use Blender’s tracking module to track a person’s head without using any markers. The example used to demonstrate is a face mask that will go onto an actor’s head, from the classic Tears of Steel project.
