Working With and Understanding the Bifrost If Node

Frosty gives a quick explanation of how the If node works in Maya Bifrost.

Maya’s Bifrost is a visual programming language. With it, you can build all kinds of systems, and in essence, you are “programming” them without writing any code. It then stands to reason that things like working with If statements are a good thing to know.

A new tutorial from Youtuber “Frosty” offers a quick and unique explanation of the IF node in Bifrost.

“I was a bit discombobulated by this at first because I expected something along the lines of how an if statement is structured in Python, but it is slightly different in Bifrost.” Frosty says.

It’s pretty easy, though, once you get used to it.
