How to Work With Bifrost Bullet Physics and Convert to Maya Instances

Markus P. shows how to work with Bifrost Bullet and Maya Instances, creating effects with a pile of pebbles.

This new tutorial from Marcus P. shows how to create and animate the collisions for thousands of tiny pebbles using Bifrst Bullet Physics and the Maya Instancer.

The Bifrost Graph in this tutorial uses a lot of higher-level Bifrost nodes created by the Bifrost community. It starts by making a procedural rock generator, piping it into Bullet Physics, and working with Fields and the Maya Instance to create the final results.

The instances were propagated to the Maya Instancer node using Randolphos’ Python node and the Rebel PackMJCG Compounds, and HeydoubleU’s Modeling Compounds.
