HyUU offers a Maya API plugin to create particles at mesh vertices, letting you convert Bifrost Particles to Maya ones.
HeydoubleU posts a video that shows how to use his plugin and Bifrost Compound, which can help transfer particles from a Bifrost Graph to the Maya scene.
The plugin is a Maya API Node that can create particles at mesh vertices. These particles are not emitted or simulated; the input mesh sets the particle data directly. Any color sets on the mesh get converted to per-particle attributes, which you can use for shading, driving instancers, etc.
HyUU mentions that the plugin initially started as a way to represent Bifrost point geometry in Maya. However, it’s made for general purposes and may be helpful for other situations.
