Nuke PinTool Helps You Position a 3D Object Into Your Scene

By February 12, 2015No Comments

Developers Roman Belov, Bogdan Bugaev share a great tool for adjusting 3D objects in Nuke. PinTool is a lightweight tool to help you adjust a 3D object into your scene. This can be used for precision portioning for still objects or for simple object tracking.

PinTool allows you to manipulate a 3D model by simply dragging control points on its surface (pins) to their correct position in the frame.

This can make it much easier to position a 3D object by looking directly at the shot and not worrying about transform manipulators.

PinTool cam be found on Nukepedia, check out PinTool for Nuke here.
