If you know me at all, then you know my love for footloose and for independent small developers creating tools away from the churning bloated machines of corporate tyranny. Sculptris is the latter! Sculptris is a work-in-progress sculpting tool from Tomas Pettersson, a 27 year-old Computer Science/Technology student at Linköpings Tekniska Högskola in southern Sweden. Tomas has been developing sculptris since early December 2009 which features a dynamic mesh tessellation that will provide additional detail where required, without a lot of bother from the user. There is an early alpha version that is available for anyone who wants to mess around with it.
