11D releases Sculptor alpha, a full-3D freehand sculpting software that is used in conjunction with the 11D Firefly – a freehand 3D space input device with 6 degrees-of-freedom. This looks pretty interesting, however I think the whole process would benefit greatly by the use of a force-feedback system to really understand and use pressure while modeling.
The 11D sculptor software itself has a bevy of features common found in modern sculpting applications, short of lacking some depth in the brushes and sculpt tools category. However, the entire application is Python scriptable, which is a welcome openness.
I love the company name though, 11D makes me feel desperately behind by only using 3D.
