Unity announced the upcoming Unity version 3.0 with many new features such as a unified editor for all versions, Beast Light-mapping, Occlusion Culling, Deferred Rendering, PS3 and iPad support as well as source level debugging with MonoDevelop. Unity is also offered as a pre-order – where you can save $300 off the regular price of Unity Pro. You’ll get immediate access to Unity Pro 2.x builds if you don’t own it already, and you’ll get early access to the beta of Unity Pro 3.
