Another tech demo for the now in beta Mari – This tech demo shows a sample diagnostic turnable rendered out of Mari. Shown in this video is the blacksmith dataset (provided as training material with Mari). The texture set for the blacksmith’s body comprises 14 channels of information, each with 40 4K textures. Diagnostic turntables can be easily rendered directly out of Mari in resolutions up to IMax (10k x 7k). This turntable took 2mins to render at HD on a laptop.
