Helge Mathee shows an overview of the progress made over at Exocortex with the Alembic integration for Autodesk Softimage, which is now an open Beta for those who are interested.
Helge Mathee writes: “This is an overview of the progress we at Exocortex made concerning the Alembic integration for Autodesk Softimage. We have opened the beta, so please let us know if you want to evaluate Alembic for Softimage. Send an email to ben at exocortex.com if you are interested. Currently we are only providing the plugin for Softimage 2012 x64 on Windows, but other releases / linux will follow throughout the beta.”
